LP – 180g Black Vinyl featuring the complete album + 2 bonus tracks. Recorded in May 1960 for Riverside Records, ‘The Three Faces of Yusef Lateef‘ presents the multi-instrumentalist in a straight-ahead session with little or no trace of his Eastern sound experimentations. A stunning and dynamic album based on a balanced mix of originals and standards, including compositions by Antonin Dvorak, Duke Ellington and Joe Zawinul, Lateef’s mastery on tenor sax, oboe and flute, displays him at the top of his game.
