Get Away With The Esquires. The most complete collection ever assembled of this Chicago/Milwaukee area R&B group. 26 Remastered Tracks so funky they turn sidewalks into dance floors! “The Esquires delivered harmonies so tight and grooves so insistent they felt like unity you could dance to. Hit Parader Magazine October 1967. The Esquires didnt just tell you to “get on up” they proved that Chicago soul could stand toe-to-toe with Detroit and Memphis, dressed sharp and singing sharper. Producer Bunky Sheppard !n the crowded constellation of late-60s soul, The Esquires shone with a distinctly Chicago glow sharp suits, sharper harmonies, and grooves built for both the dance floor and the street corner. Their 1967 breakthrough, Get On Up, wasnt just a regional hit; it was a declaration that Midwestern soul could rival the polish of Motown and the grit of Memphis.
