A gloriously quirky compilation of instrumental grooves from Frenchproducer/composer Bernard Estardy. 16 essential tracks of library-funkpsychbangers and weird tripped out pop!

A master of the mixing board, from the late 60s until the 90s Bernard Estardywas the wizard of French musical recordings. As head of CBE studios, heshaped everything from Gerard Mansets concept albums to Claude Francoishit singles, Francoise Hardys delicate tear-jerkers and Michel Sardous soulstirrers.

This giant had his hand in the whole range of mainstream French music bymaking his studio a veritable playground for experimentation. His legendaryalbum La Formule du Baron, released in 1969, and the eight LPs of productionmusic he made between 1974 and 1978 for Tele Music are vivid proof.
